Pay Rate: $95,000 - $125,000 per year

The Plant Engineer will work closely with the Director of Engineering and the Plant Manager to oversee technical aspects of capital, expense, and maintenance projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to company policies, including safety protocols.
  • Development, design, and justification of capital and expense projects.
  • Management of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Provision of expertise on equipment requirements and repairs.
  • Scheduling and conducting equipment inspections.
  • Staying updated on new technology for potential improvements.
  • Support for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaboration with production management on improvement initiatives.
  • Maintenance of work procedures and processes to meet standards.
  • Ensuring employees have necessary training and resources for high-quality work.
  • Collaboration with maintenance to enhance manufacturing efficiencies, safety, and product quality.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, with three or more years of manufacturing plant experience preferred. Strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with design software are also desired. The position involves working in various environments, requiring physical stamina and flexibility, with potential exposure to challenging conditions. Ultimately, we seek a dynamic individual with strong leadership and technical skills, capable of managing complex projects and collaborating effectively across departments.
